Food Drive

Westfed Food Pantry,

Elizabethtown Food Pantry,

and Change Court

May 15, 2021

10 am - noon

Thank you for the overwhelmingly positive response to the past food drives. Your support has been instrumental in allowing the Westfed Food pantry to continue to operate during this time of great need.

On May 15, 2021, Women of Hope will be holding the monthly food collection to support the
Westfed Food Pantry and Elizabethtown United Methodist Church.

Several area Kroger stores are offering tall (17”) paper grocery bags at checkout again. Each month, the pantry needs 150-200 bags. We appreciate your recycling with us if you have access to the large bags. All unexpired, non-perishable foods, cleaning products, and toiletries are welcome.

The specific items requested for May’s food collection are canned drinks such as lemonade or fruit juice (individual servings not liters) and bagged/boxed snacks (granola bars, nuts, and pretzels).

Non-perishable items requested are cereal, jelly (plastic bottles), crackers, canned fruits and vegetables. Pork and beans, toothpaste, spaghetti and spaghetti sauce (plastic or metal cans) are always needed.

Items may be left in the Westfed baskets outside Werner Lounge or brought to the Women of Hope food drive May 15 in the front parking area 10am - Noon. Monetary donations may be made through the church website, (listed under Community Ministries - accessed from the online eGiving link) during Sunday services, or by mail.
